The Spark Computer Graphics (Spark CG) Society's overall mission is to ignite creative and collaborate fire, help foster creativity and innovation within Vancouver's animation and computer graphics community, and highlight leading artistic and technological advancements through conferences, film festivals, and events that provide insight into the evolution and latest techniques in animation and visual effects.

Our events provide local professionals with the opportunity to expand their knowledge, business, or craft. We invite animation, visual effects, and computer graphics leaders from around the world to Vancouver and provide the forum where information on the rapid changes in the conception, production, and distribution of media content is shared. This also gives the international community a chance to learn about and experience British Columbia as an animation, visual effects, and technology destination.
