How do you take a blank sheet of paper, a pencil and create a living breathing character? What goes into creating animated characters which stand the test of time?
For world renowned character designer Borja Montoro, it’s all about personality and attitude and Montoro often draws the same character in various poses, with different expressions and attitudes to ensure the design works.
In this intensive day-long masterclass, Montoro will share the fundamental keys to creating character design with all the necessary nuance that it may be used in other phases of the animation work, exploring his own creative process along the way and leaving you inspired.
This is a unique opportunity. In his previous visit to Vancouver at SPARK ANIMATION 2015, his presentation sold out in minutes. Do not miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn from one of the world’s most sought after character designers!
