“If I could just be more human, I would see every little thing with a gleam in my eye.”

A Little Girl lives in a very grown-up world with her Mother, who tries very hard to prepare her for every last possible eventuality. The girl’s eccentric and kindhearted neighbour, the Aviator, introduces her to an extraordinary world where anything is possible. He shares the tale of an old friend, and they embark on a journey into the limitless universe of The Little Prince, to explore the imagination, to reclaim a childhood, and to rebuild human connections.

Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s beloved tale of an aviator who meets a planet-hopping prince is ingeniously expanded with a frame narrative centered on a stifled little girl and her dreaming neighbour, in this splendid 3D animated feature from director Mark Osborne (Kung Fu Panda).

Guest Skype Q&A with director Mark Osborne.
